In the dark night, the sturgeon moon hangs only in the sky above the dark ferocious sea. The light from the lighthouse wipes its pale flashes from the rock on the far shore, over the flashy waves every few seconds. Read on "STURGEON MOON"
WAXING MOON
Tonight I could see another moon from my balcony for a long time. She is beautiful to see, rather diffuse and vaguely surrounded by a wreath of light. Time for the camera and some reflection. Read on "Washing Moon"
PINK MOON
This moon isn't really pink. The term Pink Moon originates in Indian civilization in North America. This full moon is named after moss pink or creeping phlox, known to us as one of the seven types of flame flower. It's one of the first wild spring flowers in North America.

This is a romantic idea, just like the man in the moon, when the American lunar landings begin, in the early seventies of the last century, which everyone with a television set can follow live in the Netherlands in those days.
